A family-run company based out of our offices in Holmes Chapel, Mendy & Watt offers comprehensive Estate Planning services to both private clients and businesses. From Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Trust planning, through to Probate, how Care might be funded, Property Ownership and Funeral Planning, as well as Business Continuity & Succession Planning for businesses. We help to bring peace of mind to our clients when making provision for whatever the future may hold.
As Open House Estate Agents East Cheshire we offer a ‘boutique’ service for residential property Sales & Lettings, bringing the same expertise, professionalism and warmth to our clients that we do in the other areas of our business. In an industry that sometimes attracts a somewhat dubious reputation, people love to deal with us for our integrity and approachability, going the extra mile to ensure their buying, selling, and renting experience is as rewarding and stress-free as possible. The Estate Agency side was born out of our initial specialism in Probate properties (when someone has died) and whilst we are still unrivalled in this area, our service has extended to encompass all kinds of residential property Sales & Lettings in East Cheshire to become the business it is today.
Wendy Heyes
Estate Planner
Wendy is our key Estate Planning advisor, with expertise going back to 2007. Previously Wendy was a director of a large manufacturing company for 20+ years and so is able draw on practical experience when helping business owners to plan for the future. Wendy is accredited by both the Institute of Professional Will Writers (IPW) and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
While her marathon-running days may well be behind her now, Wendy still enjoys running and cycling and going for long walks with her husband, Andy, and their dogs.
Matt Heyes
Director
While he is mainly an Independent Financial Adviser for our sister company, Matt is well-versed and experienced in all areas of the business. You may even bump into him at a signing appointment or at a house viewing!
Outside of work Matt is a keen cook and avid traveller, and loves nothing more than spending time with his family and dogs.
Anna White
Estate Agent
Anna heads up our Estate Agency, our in-house property expert. She continues to help customers achieve a smooth and stress-free sales and lettings experience, but has been known to help out in other areas when needed!
When not at the office Anna can normally be found with her horses, and continues to compete at events around the country.
